Here's a project that started as a pitch but got tossed because the client thought it would "take too long." Joke's on them, it only took me five months to finish this because I kept forgetting about it.
I used this project as a chance to practice modeling in C4d. All of it was pretty straightforward, except the coin slot which took me a while to get the hang of - too bad you can barely see in the final! It's textured using the Greyscale Gorilla everyday material collection and the smoke is from the Pixel Lab vdb collection. Some light comping in After Effects using Red Giant Universe.
I spent a lot of the holidays trying to learn Ableton and get back into making music. This little faux-synthwave track is using several Native Instruments Massive plugins running through Guitar Rig.
I drew the Space Bean marquee in Photoshop. Kirby crackle sure is fun to draw.

Did some title animation for Screen Arcade, a production company working with Netflix. Made quite a few iterations - small tweaks to balance retro vs new. My fave is up top, second slide is the final. Some other iterations after that. Check out the final in front of Project Power on Netflix!!

We based this off a painting Heidi did a few years ago. I sculpted the mountains in ZBrush and Heidi made the foliage out of wool and felt. I printed and sanded each sculpt and Heidi did the final paint job.
